This is an ultra-small, high-performance dual-mode gyro designed for stabilising the tail (vertical axis) of model helicopters.
It detects the slightest of movements in the tail boom, and
counteracts them instantaneously, resulting in very good tail stability. The outstanding feature of the MULTIgyro 300DP is its small size and low weight, making it the ideal choice for use in modern electric-powered model helicopters with rotor diameters of around 1 - 1.30 metres.
The gyro is equally suitable for beginners and connoisseurs, and can be set to operate both in standard mode and headinglock mode. Mode switching and gain (sensitivity) adjustment can be carried out directly at the transmitter if an auxiliary channel is used. Gyro gain can also be adjusted directly on the gyro by means of a potentiometer, if an auxiliary channel is not available, or you do not wish to use one.
The MULTIgyro 300DP also features an adjustable tail rotor
servo travel limit (Limiter), which prevents the tail control bridge striking the helicopter mechanics, and thereby effectively prevents unnecessary strain on the tail rotor servo.
In everyday use one of the outstanding features of this gyro
is its simple set-up procedure.
The MULTIgyro 300DP exhibits an excellent performance even with standard servos (suitable servos - according to class of helicopter: Nano-S, Nano Pro KARBONITE®, TITAN digi 4).
Special characteristics:
• Dual-mode gyro (standard & heading-lock operation)
• Gain adjustment from the transmitter
(alternatively: potentiometer)
• Reverse switch for altering direction of stabilising effect
• Servo travel limit (Limiter), variable via potentiometer
• Temperature compensation
